Jim & Dee and all our Ohio Rally friends...
So sorry we won't be able to join you this year but we'll be at Fort Wilderness with our family and some RV.net friends...darn the luck...we're goin' to Disney World...but somebody has to do it!
We'll be with you in spirit on Saturday...cheering on our Nittany Lions!!! WE ARE....

We've been to the past two TSFFGs and had a great time! We have a wedding in Auburn, ME on the 27th and I'd hoped we could combine the two events...but it doesn't look like that will work out...sorry to miss it!
For the record...I LOVE windmills (it has nothing to do with the fact that our first exchange student was from The Netherlands)...they make good use of my least favorite weather condition...which is wind. I enjoy a nice breeze at the beach...but mostly I'm not a fan (no pun intended) of wind.

Morning all. It's hump day, yeah!
So no one is up for a Penn State Tailgate this fall? Gosh, I thought for sure Jake would jump all over this one!! :)
Paul...I just this minute got caught up on about 2-3 weeks worth of posts...on this thread alone....and YES!!! we are planning a Penn State tailgate for the Oregon State game (I think)...it's the first or second weekend of September.
Our two oldest girls are in a wedding in Maine the last weekend in September...and we have the Disney trip in October...so the game we picked is the ONLY one that we can make. Hope others can too...we can enter together to be able to be beside each other. I'm pretty sure Manny & Leslie will be in...unless it's the Cook Forest Gathering weekend.

I was going to use the bowl cleaner I use in the house..but DH wonders if that will "deactivate"...or conflict with the chemicals used in the black tank.

Great news...Bill is gainfully employed again! Still in sales, different type. Great benefits and such, so we are pleased.
Had to cancel many trips until later this year, but at least we can go.
Life is good. :B
Sandy...that is wonderful news! Thanks for sharing. I hope he enjoys his new job and you get back on the road soon! Hope to see you sometime this summer! Tell him "congrats" and "Hi" to Rachel! Miss you guys.

Cindy...what a fun trip for Munch...I'm sure he had a great time.
Safe travels to all those heading out this weekend. We'll be at home...little Delaney is coming to The Grandparents' house for the first time! We have my great niece's 2nd birthday party/Memorial Day picnic on Sunday...a BIG family gathering.
I think the sunshine has finally arrived...and maybe will even stay for a few days! :C

I like our comforter and shams...they match the wallpaper and bedroom window treatments so I want to use them. I also want them to look nice and fresh when it comes time to sell/trade, etc.
Sooooooo....I called the dealer and said I wanted to order an identical set that I could "keep new" for the future. They checked with Fleetwood and called me back....it was going to cost almost $900.00 for a comforter and two shams!! :E YIKES!! :E
Needless to say...we passed on that one...I'll be looking at Bed, Bath & Beyond...and Beyond!

What a great weekend...but as usual, it went by much too quickly!
I'm sorry we didn't get to say good-bye to anyone this morning...when we got home from Mass Jake started unhooking and was soaked (as was everyone) and we just got on the road...I figured I'd just say BYE on here...of course no hugs. :R
Jim...thanks for your efforts in organizing this...great job... and thanks to Paul for taking the reins for next year.

Bob & Kathy...you guys are amazing...wonderful to hear the good news on the bloodwork...and Kathy...you are a poster girl for "How to Quickly Recover from Back Surgery in One Week or Less!"
Chris & Tina...it was great to see both of you Friday night. Sorry we didn't make it on Saturday...I'd been away from home for 2 weeks...I told Jake about it Saturday morning (I'd gotten the food for our picnic lunch)...but he had other plans for the afternoon. I regret that I didn't insist..because I value our friendship and hope there are no hard feelings.
Linda...what can I say?...I'm touched by your generosity!! Thank you SOOOOO much. I'll try to do you proud! You and Bonnie have INSPIRED me....probably to Jake's dismay! :B
Glenn...you always make me laugh.
Everyone...I love all of our camping friends!...it was fun meeting the new folks and I hope it's not TOO long until we're together again. This was our first trip out this year and even the rain couldn't dampen our spirits. :C

Jim...glad to hear that Mom's out of the hospital and doing well!
I LOVE softball and played for pretty much all my teenage years...and even a game here or there as an adult. But alas...I'm no long allowed to run so unless I could be guaranteed a walk every time up (and that's no fun)...I guess I'll have to settle for spectator status.
I think the game is a great idea...can't wait to tell Jake about it! Thanks Chris & Tina for setting it up!

....and YES...we will be at Gettysburg!! We're hoping that Delaney and her Mom & Dad will join us for a night...but their pediatrician said not to take her around many people for 3 months because of her being a preemie...YIKES!! Jake doesn't necessarily agree...so we'll see!
She has some special duds to wear to her first Gathering...whenever it is!

Jake and I are pleased to announce the birth of our first granchild...Delaney Ann Duke! She was born 25 days early on Friday, April 25th....a peanut...5 pounds 6 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long! I sent pics to those of you whose e mail addresses I have. We are just delighted to have her and she, Mommy and Daddy are doing well.
The delivery was by stat C section as our daughter started to hemorrhage...that went fine but Bronwyn's white blood count was elevated...that night at midnight she went in to respiratory arrest...thank God Chris was with her a noticed she was gray, not breathing and her lips were blue...I guess it was very hectic and scary for awhile...they had OD'd her on post op narcotics...anyway, they're home and doing fine since Monday!
Can't wait to see everyone in two weeks....
